GOSHAWK 11. VALVE ROCKERS. X4226

To deal with the question of flats form-
ing on the rollers of Goshawk 11. valve rockers, it might
be thought a good scheme to try a larger roller since the
present one is only twice the diameter of the pin on which
it runs. We have accordingly made a drawing of a
suitable rocker carrying a roller 3/8" in diameter instead
of 1/4" - Lec 1560 - which we send you herewith.

This rocker is also fitted with bronze
bushings where it runs on the fulcrum.

We have no instructions to try larger
rollers but I am writing to Mr. Royce on the point.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
