X4226 To deal with the question of flats form- ing on the rollers of Goshawk 11. valve rockers, it might be thought a good scheme to try a larger roller since the present one is only twice the diameter of the pin on which it runs. We have accordingly made a drawing of a suitable rocker carrying a roller 3/8" in diameter instead of 1/4" - Lec 1560 - which we send you herewith. This rocker is also fitted with bronze bushings where it runs on the fulcrum. We have no instructions to try larger rollers but I am writing to Mr. Royce on the point.
