BENTLEY III & BENTLEY 50.

Will you please detail the scheme SCD.569 showing the mounting of the modified H.P. S.U. electric pump in the frame of the above chassis. This pump should now be included in the LOP's. of both B.III and B.50.

The pump consists of two cast iron magnet units identical in external dimension to the existing H.P. unit attached by set screws to a standard S.U. double unit body. No air bottles are fitted.

Internally this pump is fitted with Neoprene Fabric diaphragms S.U. standard double contact mechanism and a Tufnol guide bush pressed into the outer end of the core to guide the spindle and having a .009" clearance over the spindle to allow for the geometry of the contact gear.

Copper asbestos washers are fitted to the top plugs and R.R. unions. Filter gauzes are fitted to the bottom plugs.
