Petrol Tank Air vent pipe scheme FCD.847.

This shows the small vent pipe attached to the filler head by a small earthing with a face joint to the filler head. This also carries the filling vent pipe.

We suggest that to save the cost and trouble we have experienced with leaks in this joint that the filling vent pipe to soldered into the filler head as it was in the original scheme and the small pipe connected to a small union which could also be screwed and soldered into the casting.

This has been done on S.B.V.
