To Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} from EH. ----------------- With reference to your enquiry on American pistons, the engine that has just completed 100 hours test for the new Epicyclic Gear, had American pistons fitted. Altogether these pistons have now run 173 hours. I have made enquiries and find that these pistons were reamered for the gudgeon pins at the works here. They also told me/that other American pistons which have come in, require to have the final reamering or broaching done here. EH. | ||
