Messrs. Borg & Beck Ltd.,
Tachbrook Road,
Leamington Spa.

For the attention of Mr. Barker.

Dear Sirs,

Confirming the writer's visit to your Works yesterday, we consider it will be in every way to our mutual advantage for us to adopt the procedure outlined in our letter of the 7th instant, i.e. for us to make the final finger adjustment at Derby.

After an extended experience the matter we have not yet approached the situation where we can accept your finger setting on a reasonable percentage of clutches, although a big improvement has been made. We look forward to your quotation for revised prices, on the basis we discussed yesterday at an early date.

We should also like your quotation for 10-A-6 and 11-A-6 clutches on a production basis to the following specification :-

(1) Cross cushion driven plate with .045 cushioning and moulded facings.

(2) Extra bearing area for the pressure plate lugs, as provided on the 10-A-6 clutch supplied recently.

(3) Green thrust springs.

(4) All existing Rolls-Royce features such as S.82 eyebolts, special balancing, finish etc.
