If you want to see this in miniature why not borrow and reproduce the "bouncing bed" which Vauxhall has?
al Matthew Park will send it you. I think it is well worth the few shillings it costs.
Regarding your steering problem I fear that tuning alone will not cure it as you get the wobble and shimmy cycle at the same stiffness setting.
The direction of cure I am sure is along following lines:-
1) less swing axle action. The distinction here is not the camber angle at Full Bump. but the rate
