Casting defects and dimensional inconsistencies for a lower half crankcase.

Crankcase - lower half - RE.108. A/C.

(1) The casting appears to have shrunk too much lengthways, it is now - .040 on the overall length.

(2) The core is .075 to .100 small lengthways this is causing surplus metal inside the core.

(3) Two of the 3.2R bosses shewn 2.750 from the vertical centre line are - 040 where they touch the outside profile.

Sectional thickness varies from .175 to .240.
