Attached hereto is copy of a letter from the Dunlop Rim & Wheel Co.Ltd. ref.- FJK/CMH, dated 10th inst. from which you will note that Mr.Keegan, who is Joint Managing Director with Col.Matthew, agrees with the decision we have taken not to allow any of the American made Goodyear rims to go into service on our cars.

I also send you the sample section referred to as having been cut from the rim that failed.

Yesterday it was arranged that you would write to Springfield regarding this matter, but if you would prefer that I take the matter in hand, I shall be pleased to do so.
