Dear Sir,

Your letter dated 8th. February has been passed over to the chassis section for further consideration.
We assume that you have already had a reply from the Aero Division on this matter.

We have had quite a lot of experience in the past few years, not only concerned with how to make a self-adjusting tappet work, but more in how to keep it working.

At the present time, we have no available facilities for carrying on any research in this particular sphere, but we would thank you for the opportunity of perusing your specification.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS ROYCE. LTD.,

Your previous correspondence on this subject, dated 25th. January. 1940.
