SUBJECT: FAN FLAME SPARK PLUG.

ANNOUNCEMENT
Handwritten: X.4280

We are pleased to announce we have just been appointed the Sole Export Distributors of the celebrated FAN FLAME SPARK PLUG, manufactured by the FAN FLAME SPARK PLUG CO. INC. of Yonkers, N.Y., U.S.A. This Plug has been on the market for about three years, and is unlike any other spark plug in design, and particularly in results.

The center electrode of the FAN FLAME terminates in a miniature six blade rotary fan of 98% pure nickel. This fan constantly rotates at high speed, from the power generated by compressions and explosions in the cylinder. Instead of one spark, it sparks at six points simultaneously, thus giving a circular flame at least six times larger and hotter than the ordinary plug gives. The rapid revolutions of the fan keep it free from oil and carbon.

It is made in eight different sizes and styles, and as a convenience in ordering, we give our own numbers and code words for each style and size. They are manufactured as follows:

Our No. Our Code
1/2" Regular 1 AFEOT
1/2" Long 2 AFBUN
7/8" Regular 3 AFCAT
7/8" Long 4 AFCBU
Short Metric 5 AFGEX
Standard " 6 AFCLE
Long " 7 AFCOH
3/4" Standard (for tractors) 8 AFCHH

The insulation is not porcelain, but a stone composition that will withstand the greatest variation of temperature, and of much greater heat resistance than porcelain.

On account of the dependability of the FAN FLAME Plug, it has been adopted as standard by a number of the leading Fire Departments in the United States, and it is also used very extensively in the Air Plane Service of the United States Government.

It is not a cheap plug in price, in fact one of the highest priced plugs made, but by its use there is a saving in gasoline, as a thinner mixture is necessary, and there is less formation of carbon on the plug or in the cylinder.
