M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Child. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 1st instant and note that you would like us to make up some Bentley Instruments with a concave dial lighting, and would like to take an early opportunity of discussing this matter with you. The undersigned would be very pleased to come to Derby at any time convenient to your good selves, and will be glad to hear when you would like this visit to take place. He is likely to be one or two days at the Commercial Motor Show but can arrange these days to suit your convenience. We think it should not be difficult to arrange some form of stop to retain the pointer after exceeding 4,500 revs., and before coming up we will endeavour to prepare some sort of a sample. As regards the Bentley instruments which we have on hand for you, we regret that there has been so much delay, and would inform you that the instruments themselves are absolutely ready. We have, however, had some difficulty in obtaining suitable samples from our glass suppliers but are expecting final samples through daily. In order to expidate the matter, however, it would be a great convenience to us if you happen to have any glasses in stock of the type required if you could let us have two of these, in case the delay with the glass manufacturers is more than we anticipate.
