TO HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} c. to BJ. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} ORIGINAL. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/M21.7.23. 20.HP. CHASSIS HEAD LAMPS. X4090 We are sending you a pair of Lucas head-lamps - RB.{R. Bowen}65 - which we have today received. We think you should get them fitted up on a Goshawk suitable to be brought down here, and to Sales, with a view to obtaining approval for their use, which we understand is urgent. The lamps should be fitted up on brackets shewn on N.sch.1417., and it is essential that the lamps should be at the correct height above the ground which will demand the new wing stay having it's lamp bracket base 1" higher than at present in use.
