Phantom III - Cylinder Head Oil Drainage. We send you herewith LeC.5589 showing a modification to the seating of the inlet valve spring. This consists of increasing the diameter of the recessing to 1.9 diameter, with the object of assisting the flow of oil to the drain pipes. We understand that existing castings will permit of this alteration, there being sufficient metal. Kindly note that this only applies to the inlet valves. E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} | ||
