With reference to your telegram and memo we are going on with the left-hand car.

As far as designing is concerned we make out that the only things required are - a new pedal gear because pedals are not handed, but are simply transferred from one side of the car to the other. And a slight modification in the operation of the controls from the steering column because these also are not handed, but are transferred to the other side of the car without alteration.

We make out, at present, that the remainder of the alterations are merely looking-glass copies of the present car., with some modification to hand of threads etc.,

We wonder whether we ought to incorporate the Northcliffe type clutch on this car, in view of the three speed gear box. We are proceeding with the designs of the pedals and control gear as above, and shall send you prints in a short while.
