OUR REF: RLK/NK. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd. DERBY. 11th March 1937. Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. Dixon. Herewith please find another needle assembly for the thermostatic carburetter. The writer was certainly rather surprised when he tested your car that it did not pile up more. We cannot see quite why it wants so much more petrol than any other car we have tried. It is of course a fairly big engine, but if this pointed needle we are sending you proved inadequate, the only thing will be to open up things generally, that is, to use a larger jet and needle and larger passages for the mixture. Yours faithfully, For THE S.U. CARBURETTER CO. LTD. Enclosure | ||
