Pf. FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} C. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} (SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} is crossed out) J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} 3. EXHAUST SYSTEM. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/416.2.32. V8580 Replying to EY/CGH{W Clough}/G12232., we send herewith N. sch. 3434. showing a re-arrangement of the rear support of the silencer. Full particulars were not given on N. scheme 3352.. The suggestion is that we should use the existing P. 2. bracket on the silencer, and since the forward end is going to be the one longitudinally rigid, this rear one should be somewhat flexible. We have therefore shown a rather long flexible bracket. All the pieces - with the exception of this bracket - are intended to be existing P. 2. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
