With reference to Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}25/KW10.1.34, I wonder if you can yet let me have a reply regarding the 14 cars that you wish to bring into line with production models.

Certain work, i.e. changing of the petrol tanks to provide sealed fillers, has I believe been done to some of these cars already, or anyhow provision has been made for that work to be done. Probably you will prefer to treat this petrol tank job as a special one separate from the other work which you indicated you wished to do in Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/KW28.12.33.

As it may take a little time to get hold of the cars that you require for the changes that you wish to make, I would naturally be glad to know as soon as possible what you would like me to arrange.

There is one urgent car on the list, that is Croall's (B-31-AE). We have given them permission to sell this car and they have done so and the owner who is impatient about it wants to have it on the 26th January, in fact Croalls say they must deliver it by that time. Therefore, it seems that this car should come to you without delay for the changes to be made. Would you please let me know when you could take the car in for this purpose, having regard to the fact that it must be delivered to the customer by Friday of next week.

Also, I believe you have had Rippon's car at the Works and may have made the necessary changes already. I referred to that car in my memo above mentioned.

If you could let me have an early reply just stating how this matter stands and what we can arrange to help you, I should be very glad.
