FOR THE ATTENTION OF MR. CHANDLER. clore

Dear Sirs,

We are glad to note from your letter of the 10th instant, that the results obtained on the 13 1/2" Borglite plate, fitted to a Phantom III are very good up to the present.

We note your remarks regarding the new design of hub, and we are getting out a suggested design, and will let you have a print in the course of a post or so.

We do not think it necessary to locate the inside radius of the cushion plates on a spigot on the hub, as the rivets should provide sufficient location.

With regard to the 10 and 11" plates of the Borglite type, we have not at the moment thought of going into production on these particular types, although we have copies of designs which have been developed in the States.

You will realise of course that there is a considerable outlay in tools for producing these plates, and we feel that we shall not be going ahead on these sizes for some time. We will, however, keep you advised on this matter, and should we decide to go into production during the next year, we will let you know.

Yours faithfully,
BORG & BECK COMPANY LTD.
