E.R. Hall, Esq.,

LONDON, N.W.1.

Dear Mr. Hall,

Herewith the sketch of the petrol tank for your Le Mans car.

By using existing castings for the vent, we find that the lid{A. J. Lidsey} will open towards the main filler. If you do not think this is acceptable, will you let us know and a new casting will have to be made so that the vent opens in whatever direction you wish.

Incidentally you might also let us know in what direction you want the main filler to open.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
