-Starter Motor-

With reference to the Starting Pinion made in aluminium bronze, which was found to work satisfactorily until the teeth became damaged ; we have obtained some material having a higher Brinell figure in order that further Pinions may be made for testing purposes, and we hand you herewith two bars of aluminium bronze, one marked "YA" and the other "ZB". Will you please have a Pinion made to our Drawing D.73363, blue print of which is in your possession, from each of these samples for further test and investigation.

Will RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} please say if any machining difficulties are encountered during the manufacture in the event of the Pinion proving satisfactory in operation.
