Br/M.7/A.12.6.36, re rear silencer fouling the third cross member. we presume you mean by this that the distortion of the 'S' bend pulls the silencer forward and causes the suspension link to foul the cross member. If this is the case, it is receiving the attention of both the Exptl. and Design Depts. If this is not the case, will you please furnish us with more detail as to the exact part of the silencer that causes the trouble, as all cars leave the Works with ample silencer clearance.
