Modification to the 25/30 exhaust system to rectify a fouling issue with the third crossmember.

With reference to the complaint of the rear silencer suspension fouling the third crossmember on some cars, this can be rectified by moving the strap backward .250" so that the suspension link in its initial position will only have a slope of .250" instead of .5". This will make no alteration to the bracket nor to the link parts, but merely means instructing the Works to weld the strap to the silencer in the new position. E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} | ||
