We attach hereto for reference photograph of six Exhaust Valves EW.1853, manufactured in KE.965, removed from the above unit in France after completing 26,366 miles.

On Nos. 2 and 3 small cracks are apparent under the head, Nos. 6,7, and 10 are free from cracks, No.11 the head has completely broken away from the stem.
