Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} X7772 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}4/AJ.6.5.30. LEFT-HAND CHASSIS FOR AMERICA. With reference to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}11/E5.5.30. The only features fitted to the second left-hand chassis which were not fitted to the first left-hand chassis are the automatic lubrication of the clutch spigot, and the dash-pot for silencing the brake release. There will also be the latest modifications to the single point radiator mounting, but these are of a minor nature and will be sent out to the left-hand chassis now running in France. We certainly consider that running about under English conditions will be more likely to give us information on these conditions and do not consider that a standard 10,000 miles is necessary for them. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} The modification extending the rear of the bonnet over the edge of the dashboard will also be carried out on this car, but this is more a question of appearance than anything els. | ||
