P. 2. BODY WIRING & ACCESSORY BOXES.

To meet the requirements of the body builder as regards lighting and accessories, and to make the installation safe from fire it would appear that we ought to repeat the accessory distribution box in the frame at the rear in place of the junction box now fitted.

This would enable each accessory both at front and rear of car to be supplied through a fuse of the correct size for protecting its own circuit.

Also each accessory box could receive its current from terminal 8. on the main board so that the ammeter would not be subjected to the violent effect caused by the use of a cigar lighter.

At the present time the ammeter indicates current consumed in the rear of the body via the junction box, but ignores accessories connected to the right and centre terminals of the accessory box.

We should be glad to have the views of the Electrical Depts. concerned.
