To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} x7090 HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth.11/KW.25.6.34. Camshaft for Ph.II. We have found that No. 4 inlet valve gives trouble at lower speeds than the others when the engine is fitted with Cadillac automatic tappets and the E.80070 camshaft, and suspect that this is accounted for by irregularities in the cam profile. Since this camshaft has given more promising results than E.82448 we should like the master shaft to be rebuilt with a new No. 4 inlet cam in the place of the old.
