Accuracy of Camshaft Manufacture.

We think we have rather a good opportunity of checking over cam forms. It should be a great deal easier to detect inaccuracies on the cam form than on the camshaft itself.

We have an old type standard camshaft, E.80070, which is at present in our Test Bed Unit in which one inlet valve bounces a long time before the others. As this is not a present production shaft the form should be available for measurement.

We think it would be of considerable value if you could measure the offending cam form and compare it with one of the others for us.
