I attach a copy of a letter from Mr. C.A. Hyde.
The following is an extract from the minutes of yesterday's Sales Conference:-
The letter from Mr C.A. Hyde, of December 10th, was considered, in which he complained that he had an american ammeter on his British Rolls-Royce car. The fitting of American accessories to the 20 h.p. helps to keep alive the rumour that they are partly made in America.
It is extremely desirable that a British ammeter should be fitted, and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} is to be asked whether any recent experiments have been made with British ammeters, and whether one of these instruments cannot be adopted now.
B.J.
