Reorganisation and operational methods of the Planning Department.

In reorganising the department, one of the chief objects in view has been to provide a system whereby designs, which may become standardised, are examined from a production standpoint before so much work has been done that we are committed to them. Under the new system design schemes intended for production will automatically be handed to TB. before detailing, and details will go to him before issue to the Experimental Department. In a similar manner, when the Experimental Department produce a scheme which may be standardised, the scheme and details should be submitted to the Planning Department at an early stage.
