REPORT ON VENTILATION SCHEME.
I have taken tests of chassis 1948 and have obtained the following figures, the conditions were the same in each test, ie fair trailing wind, engine made to run at full power; car running at 25 miles per hour, which we found was the most effective condition for raising water temperature.
The figures in black are records taken with dashboard open and side guards filled in, that is, as per present standard.
The figures in red are with dash filled in and engine side guards ventilated as per the new scheme as designed.
Contd.
