Engine "Thuds" & crankshaft distortion etc. 1/6/11 Test on 1486 (new) chassis fitted with external slipper wheel, with pointer against rim of slipper wheel when firing on No 1 wheel ran out of truth No 1 shorted it was O.K. 1/2/11 spring in the pocket. Test with [scribbled out word] engine gears cracked when accelerated By shorting No 1 cyl it was greatly improved. By running on the three rear cyls it was O.K. 3 front cyls only bad.
