ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. RR 208(150 BKS) [BH57-29-8-20.] MP 22435B To Order No. Customer's No. run fully advanced at 2000 rpm and then high speed and low speed sparking tests. A 4.5 mm gap, was used as sparking occurred on the safety gap if 5.5m m gaps were used, which suggests that the safety gap is rather small. (We were unable conveniently to ascertain the length of the safety gap). Both magnetos would spark regularly at 4,500 rpm fully advanced and the low speed sparking was as follows:- NO 83119 140 rpm Advance 210 rpm Retard NO 83120 150 rpm Advance 230 rpm Retard Signed H.E.W. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
