We have tested two of these magnetos received from Messrs Norths and destined for Falcon X expl engine. One of these, NO 83120, failed after an hours run on the bench under normal conditions, and upon subsequent examination the condenser was found short-circuited. The condenser was returned to Messrs Norths, and upon receipt of a new condenser which was refitted to the magneto, further tests were made. The other magneto functioned OK throughout the tests, which consisted of an hours preliminary Signed: contd. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
