x261 b To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}10/KW.18.4.35. Mr. Fedden, B-189-AE. Replying to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}29/E.17.4.35, I have not seen a copy of Fedden's letter of the 16th, but gather that he is asking for Aerolite pistons. In view of the fact that he has run a considerable distance it would not be possible to take his standard pistons out and put Aerolite pistons in. Therefore the cost would be appreciable. The result would be an increase in H.P. which would be much less impressive than fitting the high compression cylinder head. If Fedden wants a better performance we would recommend the new cylinder head. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
