Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}7/Ks/E.19.4.34.

No. 28-ix.

Referring to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}9/E.19.4.34, the items it is proposed to bring on to T.S series are :-

(1) Dropped cross member in the front with head lamp bulbs incorporated in the wing.

(2) Inset metal cross member to enable valis in the year seats to be fitted.

(3) Special balance weight fixing on the crankshaft.

(4) Easy brake adjustment.

(5) Brake equaliser shafts with spherical bearings.

(6) Backed off second speed dog teeth.

(7) Semi-isolation of floorboards.

(8) Washer adjustment of the crown wheel.

A Standardisation Sheet is being issued covering these items: it is considered that sufficient running has been done to justify their release.

Other points of immediate interest on the car are -

FAN.

Production material is being held up in view of the possibility of a more silent fan being introduced.

EXHAUST SYSTEM.

Babcock has had trouble with this. Material is being held up pending modifications to rectify the known faults.
