Stromberg automatic choke and fast idle device fitted to Stromberg downdraught carburetter.

Fast idling set to 15 m.p.h. approx.

Suction bleed altered from .038" to .046".

Initial tension on bi-metal strip adjusted to 10 notches.

Main body insulated and bi-metal strip placed as close as possible to junction of exhaust branches, being mounted on a sheet metal bracket welded to exhaust manifold.
