The above car was being delivered to Lillie Hall when after 100 miles (total mileage on speedometer 32,000) a big end unfortunately failed. The car was coaxed along at 20/25 M.P.H. to Kingsbury depot for attention and was left there pending instructions from Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} The oil pressure still recorded 15 lbs.sq.in. at 25 M.P.H, after the failure and 4,000 R.P.M. was the maximum during the run to London.
