CRANKCASE VENT. Drawing No. Part List Origin. To prevent crankcase fumes getting into bodies. Experimental Test Report. An extension is fitted from the crankcase breather to the carburetter. All fumes are taken in through the carburetter - similar scheme used on Goshawk 11. Road Test Report. Fitted to 5 or 6 customers cars and has given satisfaction. Repair Dept. have made demands for these. Run on Expl: cars 12,500 miles. A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to customers. B Scrap and replace on Chassis in works. C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test. D Use existing stock Alteration effective on future Chassis.
