LONDON, W.3.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to your TPS/MAB. of the 29th Ult. Herewith two drawings F.55744 & N.Sch.2578 indicating how we propose to tilt the petrol gauge. You will note that in one case this is 5º and the other 6½º.

Drawing F.55744 also shews clearly the method of venting the tank; if you require any further information about the area of venting will you please let us know. As we are standardising the gauge as shewn in Drg. N.Sch.2578, we should appreciate a tank unit to test out experimentally as soon as possible.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
