With regard to the attached letter from Dunlops which we are returning, we now send you a drawing of Dunlops which we have modified, and this drawing shows the wheels which we intend to standardise for production. The 12 wheels therefore which we recently ordered should be to this drawing

We are fully aware that Dunlops will have to instal new plant for these wheels, as they have never made such a wide section rim with such a large diameter. Perhaps you had better mention to them that we have chosen the open type rim because it is lighter and provides better cooling for the brake drum.

It might be a good idea to let them know that we may shortly be wanting (for Wraith) 5 x 17" rims of exactly the same kind as shown on the attached drawing. They might then be able to make their plant adaptable for either size.
