For the attention of Mr. Martindale.

Messrs. Rolls Royce Limited,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 23rd. December regarding the "Phantom 3" brake drum.

We were under the impression that our Sales Department had sent to you copies of the drawings of our suggested brake drum castings, but we find now that these were sent for the attention of Mr. Royce. We therefore enclose herewith a copy of each of our drawings Part Nos. TD.5012 and TD.5013, which show the cast shape and also the suggested finished machined form of the brake drum.

We note that you do not mention the increased thickness of the bolt hole flange to .2" but you will remember that this was also suggested.

We would like to mention that the quotation for these drums was sent from our Sales Dept. on the 23rd December, and we are therefore now awaiting your further instructions.

Yours faithfully,
THE MIDLAND MOTOR CYLINDER CO. LTD.
