X3741 To ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} from EFC. EFC1/T27.11.22. X.3741- BATTERY HYDROMETERS Re your note ROY{Sir Henry Royce}1/MG25.11.22 and the sample Exide hydrometer submitted to us, we do not think it would be satisfactory to put these glass hydrometers into customers' hands. As regards the outer tube, this may be O.K. and not get broken, but the little density tube is almost certain to get broken in time. Also another disadvantage is that this tube has to be placed inside the other tube every time the hydrometer is required to be used, whereas in the Luthy hydrometer everything is ready. This sample Exide hydrometer, however, will be very useful to us in our work and we would be glad if you would arrange for us to keep it. EFC. | ||
