Contd. JB.16.

(5) The bulb is ribbed to prevent rolling and need only be compressed slightly to get sufficient acid for a reading.

(6) Glass prongs are fitted to the float to prevent it from sticking, but when used, it was found to lean on one side and stick at the top, by this it seems that prongs are necessary at the top of the float as well as those which are already fitted.
