W/N - Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} X1336 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}27/KW.15.7.36. Lord Rothes, who was here a short time ago on a tyre job, mentioned that his car was going in to Park Ward's during the first fortnight in August, and that his servo lining has worn out. He asked me whether it would be possible to do the job whilst the car is at the Coachbuilders, as he finds it most difficult to spare the car at any other time. We are rather interested in a servo, the linings of which have worn out, and should be very glad if you could tackle the job and tell us exactly what has happened to it. We think it must be some other fault, because as far as our experience goes, servo linings last for ever. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
