X830 To Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} from EFC. EFC6/T15.12.25. RE TUNGSTONE BATTERIES. ------------------------- Considering this matter further we think that before having a complete 12 volt type 12449 L.T. standard car battery of 50 ampere-hour capacity, we would like to have just one cell of such a battery for examination. The reason for this is that the construction of the cell is such a big departure from standard types that we would like to make a thorough examination of it to decide whether in our opinion trouble would occur in other ways than purely electrical. It would not be our intention to charge this cell in the first instance, so it could be returned intact, if we do not wish to pursue the matter further. From their description it is quite an easy matter to dismantle a cell completely for examination and reassemble it completely in finished condition. Perhaps, therefore, you will arrange to obtain such a cell for examination. EFC. | ||
