PHANTOM II SPRINGING.

The modifications we have made to the springing of your car 58-GN. are as follows :-

Lower rating front springs and increased poundage of the shock absorbers on the front.

Although we think there was a definite improvement in the springing of the car inasmuch as the 'pitching' period was reduced, we are not satisfied that we have got the very best out of the combination of springs and shock absorber settings.

After you have had an opportunity of testing it, we should like to know your impressions and if necessary make some further modifications.

The only front springs we had available of the reduced rating were really too strong for your car, this meant that the car was raised up at the front more than it should be. We will try and correct this at a later date.

As regards the complaint from Mr. Mulekamp. At the present time we have no springs in stock with the reduced rating. We have ordered two more pairs of springs and we expect to receive them in about 14 days. We are pressing the makers to give us a firm date for the delivery, and
