Dear Sirs, Re: Lockheed Jacks. With reference to our conversation on the telephone to-day, as we explained the delay in completing this work is now due to the necessity of designing and manufacturing four special Valves, which will enable any corner of the Chassis to be lifted, as opposed to the front or back axle. We anticipate, however, having all this work through at the end of the week, and on the completion of satisfactory tests we will forward a Chassis to you by rail. Regarding Lockheed Brakes, it will not serve any useful purpose our having the Chassis back, and either our General Manager, Mr. Burdon, or our Chief Technical Sales Representative, will endeavour to make an appointment with you to discuss the matter of the application of the Lockheed Brakes, during next week. We trust this will be satisfactory. Yours faithfully, AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS COMPANY LTD. C.CLENCH. Development Department.
