Noise Insulation.

We are now engaged in instructing Park Wards how to carry out this insulation job.

5-D-IV experimental car about to go to France is being insulated and also Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}'s car. At the same time 30-G-IV is being dealt with at Derby with a view to seeing if any unforeseen difficulties arise.

We noted that in our recent discussion on the subject you were very anxious that this scheme should be carried out on the Phantom and have since heard from Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} that Phantom Chassis 39-SK has been allotted for the job and is at Barkers. It is unfortunate that we should have to instruct Barkers how to do the job and tackle a new car at the same time; however, we are arranging to do what we can.

With reference to the attached report, Ha/Whyman is to be commended on the way he has carried through this job.
