W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham, Esq.,
Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Robotham,

Thank you so much for giving me the time on Friday morning last, and the opportunity of driving your two latest 'children'.

I think the road holding qualities of the Bentley were remarkable, and the pulling power, especially at low speed, of the larger engine, very impressive.

Thank you for undertaking to overhaul my Bentley chassis. My idea was to put it into thoroughly good running order. I take it that the work will probably take about ten days to a fortnight, and I would be much obliged if you would ask one of your people to drop me a postcard when I can send up and fetch it.

With regard to the question of the new car, Hives did speak to me about this matter at the Works on Thursday, the 26th, and said that he would raise it with Sidgreaves at Duffield Bank that evening, but we had so many other things to talk about I expect it slipped his memory.

Yours sincerely,

A.H.R.Fedden.
