RR 238 (150 BKS.) (DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 451-8-12 24) MP 306975 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. 19 To (2) Order No. Customer's No. The levers were run on the bench rigs on a standard distributor at 700 rpm for 100 hrs. only one failure was experienced, that being one of the levers described in (2) above. The rivet in this lever worked loose after 15 hrs run. The rivetting on the ten levers supplied by Mr Bailey however although by the same firm appear a much better job; this can be said about the L.P.S levers also. Soldering the points into position possesses the certainty that good electrical contact is made and we should be glad to hear what objections BY has to this scheme mechanically. Signed H.E.W. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
